Cincinnati Performance Opportunity for Student Jazz Trumpeter, Charles Fisher

Charles Fisher, a promising student jazz trumpeter, has been invited to perform in Cincinnati, Ohio on June 27th by their local Jazz Alive, Inc. organization. Charles, who studies with Bobby Watson, Clarence Smith, and other notable local teaching artists, is a true member of the KC jazz scene as well. He is very involved with his own KCPS instrumental music program, is a member of the American Jazz Museum's "Kansas City Jazz Academy" program, and also participates in regional jazz events like "Bird Boot Camp" and the monthly "ARC Student Jazz Jam Session" programs that are part of the annual Charlie Parker spotlight celebration. It's a family invitation too. His musical parents, Osmond and CharCarol Fisher will also be traveling from Kansas City to perform with him as well.
