Christopher Burnett and Terri (Anderson) Burnett‘s Music Education initiatives form the “foundation” of the nonprofit programs of the Public Charity nonprofit organization, KANSAS CITY AREA YOUTH JAZZ, INC. a 501(c)(3) entity which also includes four total programs: (1) Youth Jazz, (2) Artists Recording Collective; (3) Bird Boot Camp; and (4) Jazz Artistry Now.

BMF seeks tax-deductible contributions to fund, produce, and support its programs.

Although we have the word “foundation” in our name we are not a funding organization like many traditional large charitable nonprofit foundations.

BMF was founded in 2020 to support its own educational programming that is centered on the United States of America’s original musical art form, “Jazz.” Some historical highlights include:
